Writer/Director.
Drama directing work includes NO ANGELS for C4, NEW STREET LAW and THE CHASE for BBC1. She wrote and directed an hour long factual drama IRAN HOSTAGE CRISIS for BBC1.
Clara’s directed four short films: UNSCREW for the BBC series “8 Ways to Leave Your Lover”, which she also wrote (winner best female director, Granada Film Festival). ITS NOT YOU ITS ME for the BBC series “8 Ways to Leave Your Lover” (runner up, Turner Classic Movie Award, commended, Brief Encounters, Bristol), THE PRACTICALITY OF MAGNOLIA for the New Found Land scheme (winner best television drama and best score, Scottish New Talent BAFTAs). And NO MAN’S LAND for BBC series Tartan Shorts (runner up Kodak Award).
Documentary credits include the feature length I MET ADOLF EICHMANN (gold medal winner at the New York Festival) JAMES BARRIE AND PETER PAN for BBC2 and LAST YEARS TORIES and THE HIDDEN JEWS OF BERLIN for Channel 4.
Clara currently has two feature film scripts in development.
